Welcome to the Literature Project of Lower Canada College's

Gr. 10 students of English

The goal of the project is to share elements of our Canadian culture by exploring short stories and literature by Canadian authors.

The students were asked to not only provide their interpretation of their pieces of literature as seen through their Canadian eyes, but to also make meaningful connections of Canada's history and our present-day culture here in Montréal, Québec, Canada. They were asked to reflect on the pieces of literature and what it is to be Canadian. A short biography of each of the authors was also provided.

Neveh Channah School in Israel has been working on the project to share their culture through short stories by Israeli authors. It has been a pleasure to exchange our points of view, our cultural similarities and differences, and our histories with each other.
