IOC 2006 Online Learning supporting international collaborative literature project

Timeline of 2005-2006 Projects:

July-September 2005 – teachers meet for synchronous meetings to create project goals and select appropriate pieces of literature for students

September 2005 – Students make introductions in Moodle LMS forums

October-November 2005- students study their pieces of literature and continue discussions about their cultures in the moodle LMS forums

November 2005 – students take online quizzes (Rabin-LCC) and vote for choice of literature (LCC-NC)

January-February 2006 – students create materials for the webpage which will present the pieces of literature in a meaningful way to the students from the other culture

February 2006 – Students post responses to the web materials
